There are a lot of great home launchers for Android, but ADWLauncher EX is my personal choice. This is an in-depth review of the launcher that shows how it works as well as all the various settings you can tweak to your liking. ADW is also theme-able with many themes available for download from the market. But even without theming you can customize your home screen and make it your own.

ADWLauncher EX is available on the Google Play Market here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.adwfreak.launcher

There is also a free version of ADWLauncher that is missing some of the advanced features of the paid EX version. The free version is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.adw.launcher
