Every year, my local club DFWMAS does a LFS Bus Tour. What is that? We ride in a chartered bus and visit a bunch of fish stores over a 9 hour period. Not only does this support the local economy, spending $5000-$7000 of our own money, but we get to share the experience with club members asking questions of each other as we make purchasing decisions. Between stores, we can chat with each other while enjoying snacks and drinks. This year, the bus stopped by my house briefly to visit my 400g reef and raise a toast since it landed on the anniversary date (5 years!) Join your local club, they do fun things.
