President Museveni advises Rwenzori people to embrace peace and reconciliation.

President Yoweri Museveni has appealed to the people of Kasese and the Rwenzori region to embrace peace and shun the endless wars and conflicts that have characterized the region causing retardation to the development of the region, loss of lives and wealth. The President said that although the Rwenzori region is blessed with abundant resources that include great agricultural potential, tourism opportunities, minerals that are crucial for industrialization and brilliant and hard working population, the endless war and conflict that have characterized the region have hindered the development of the region. He was the chief guest at the fundraising function for the construction of the Rwenzori Seventh day Adventist church and mentoring center in for the Rwenzori Adventist field.
