Philadelphia Zoo Tigers Near Fence

I prefer to see the tigers in the Philadelphia Zoo through a fence than through the glass in some of the viewing areas. When they are near the fence, you can hear them breathing. Or hear their footsteps as the walk. I think the glass is too much of a barrier, even if they are only a few inches away.
