T&T Working On “Sustainable Solution” On Migrants & Refugees

Government has formed an Inter-Ministerial Team to address the issue of Venezuelan migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees in Trinidad and Tobago. Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dennis Moses, was responding to an Urgent Question in the Senate on Tuesday regarding the treatment of refugees in Trinidad and Tobago. Minister Moses said the team is reviewing the situation and will make a "sustainable solution" moving forward on the matter. He said the mandate of the National Security Inter-Ministerial Team is to present options for this country's response to the issue.
