In this video I show you step by step how I prepare and decorate my hand made washi tape. There are hundreds of ways to make the stuff I'm sure, but this is the way that is comfortable to me :) ALSO.. to answer someone's question!! How do you save your washi?? Answer: If you want to save it, roll it around a piece of acetate or some slick surface, and to keep it from sticking to itself, it's best to coat the top with a finish of some kind. I do NOT coat mine, I leave it hang until I use it BECAUSE, if you put a liquid finish on the top of this, the way I do it, with the inks I've used (CTMH and SU) it will smudge!!!
