In her TED talk “DOING LITTLE GESTURES WITH GREAT LOVE” she will be talking about her involvement in assisting children with cancer, who have lost their hair from chemotherapy, to get new hair by manufacturing wigs for them with hair donated by well wishers. At first, she was all by herself, after she donated the first pony tail, which grew to 2,000 pony tails and soon enough she had a team of 120 members and the project was implemented in 40 cities in Romania. Her strongest belief is that we are all capable of doing wonderful things, we just need to find the determination to start them and the right people to work with. is currently a 4th year Erasmus exchange student at the University of Debrecen, Medical School. She is originally from Romania. She grew up in a family of teachers and was always surrounded by people who were dedicating their lives to help and empower others. For the past few years, she saw volunteering as a way of living and has been trying her best to make a difference, in the best way she could. There were times in which it was terribly difficult to stay optimistic, especially because there were so many obstacles that she came across. However, she managed to overcome her fears and built strong partnerships with people.
