Star Photographer Philip Kamakya becomes the third journalist caught in the confrontation between Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero and Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale's supporters. On Thursday July 17, 2015, two other journalists, Dennie Ole Omondi and Sharon Ogachi of West TV were robbed of valuables outside Milimani Law Court while covering a defamation suit Kidero filed against Khalwale over allegations that the governor led to the dwindling fortunes of Mumias Sugar company while he was the CEO of the miller.
