With the Rain Badge, we can finally use Waterfall, and thanks to that, we can get to the area where my last needed Pokémon is hiding!  A quick return trip to Meteor Falls, and it's off to a new area of the cave.  It seems that the local trainer population has seen the Champion around here sometimes...  Foreshadowing of things to come perhaps?...
