Just some pictures and video of a vintage Lego set. From around 1974 - set 580 Brick Yard. Also produced as set 360 Gravel Quarry. These sets from the 70's were very simple. This has a conveyor belt (there different sets that have a yellow version of the conveyor belt). The unique piece to this set is the baseplate. Most everything else is common bricks and pieces.

This is actually one of my favorite older sets. I like the name - Brick Yard. We will build some of our other sets from the 1973-1975 era and take some pictures. I have 2 extras of this set and will sell them in my Bricklink store:

Maybe I should do some reviews. Most people seem to be reviewing the modern stuff. Perhaps we should review some of the vintage Lego stuff. I know some of theser sets aren't as interesting as the modern sets, but I like them because it was what was available when I was I kid. Lego produces hundreds of different sets each year today, whereas they probably only produced dozens of new sets back in the mid 70's.
