(14 Oct 2018) Hundreds of people packed the pews of an old brick church in Amsterdam, New York, for eight of the 20 people who were killed last week in a limousine crash. A combined funeral service was held on Saturday for four sisters and their family members at St. Stanislaus church. Speaking outside the church, Angelo Santabara, New York Assemblymember said, "it is very very emotional, very tough, very tough for the entire community." "My heart goes out to these families, it is heartbreaking to see a tragedy like this in our local area." The stretch limo barreled down a hill past a stop sign into another vehicle in the parking lot. All 17 passengers and the driver were killed, as well as two pedestrians standing in the parking lot.
