Another act of illegal circumcision in the Eastern Cape has left an initiate fighting for his life after he was allegedly starved and neglected in the forest. Yesterday in a special sitting, the Alex Matikinca Community Development Forum held a hearing at the Motherwell police station today, to sentence the suspects. The forum is responsible for monitoring forests during the circumcision seasons. Nationally 24 deaths have been reported, of which the Eastern Cape accounts for 18. Anda Nqonji reports.
