Ahead of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, BJP finds itself in yet another controversy, when their vice-president in the state, Daya Shankar Singh called former state chief minister Mayawati “worse than a prostitute” while talking to the media on Wednesday. Amid shocking political discourses by BJP’s loose canons, Dayashankar Singh has now viciously accused Mayawati of selling election tickets. BJP has 15 vice presidents in Uttar Pradesh, Daya Shankar Singh being one of them. He was a general secretary of the party in the state and had lost legislature council elections in June.
