By March 2009, 25 playgrounds will have been built by Chrysler and Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealers in partnership with hundreds of community volunteers and the non-profit KaBOOM!. The mission of KaBOOM! is a great place to play within walking distance for every child in America. The playgrounds built with the help of Chrysler and the dealers will eventually serve more than 52,000 children. Children across the country now have more places to swing, slide and play. To make sure tomorrows generation grows into healthy and successful adults, its important as kids today that they get out and play. The playgrounds were designed with the help of kids in each area they were built. Kids would get involved in the planning process and sketch out what they wanted to see in their neighborhood playground, making each KaBOOM! playground unique.
