Here's a fun run and gun I did after getting my Sig PM400 (before the January 2015 Open Letter from the BATF).  I have since removed the Sig pistol brace from the buffer tube, which came attached to the pistol from the factory, so that incidental contact with my shoulder will not land me in prison or with a hefty fine.

You've got to love sweeping unilateral decision-making resulting in enforcement of what is essentially law made outside of the US judicial system.
