Rory is an 8-year-old with big dreams and a big heart. He is already aware of environmental issues, and wants to work to help stop pollution in the future. In his free time, he loves playing with Lego models, and wants to give his fellow Kennedy Krieger students a Lego model as a gift so that they can enjoy putting it together as much as he does. In fact, Rory hopes to one day become a Lego designer himself. It's at the Kennedy Krieger School that Rory has worked to develop the classroom and social skills he needs to bring those dreams to life. After struggling at his old school, Rory arrived at Kennedy Krieger and has worked hard to improve in a variety of critical areas through the Institute's educational programs. These areas include math, reading, language arts, observation, and his two favorite subjects, art and science. Thanks to the specialized attention he's received focusing on his unique needs and abilities, Rory continues to make great strides inside and outside the classroom.
