Secret Service to test drone to boost security at Trump property. The U.S. Secret Service said on Wednesday it plans to deploy a small drone during President Donald Trump's visit to his golf club in New Jersey this month as the agency considers new ways to provide protection. In a document released Wednesday, the agency said it planned to use a small tethered unmanned aircraft system vehicle during Trump's visit this month to the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. The club is one of the president's favorite weekend spots and he is expected to stay there for an extended period in August. The Secret Service declined to answer questions about the drone's specifics but said the test will help determine the potential for using such vehicles to protect the president.
