Frances Clare is an enigmatic Cape Town based five-piece band that has shared stages with Crimson House, Majozi, Bam Bam Brown and more. The songs themselves are an inspired mix of covers and originals and incorporate a unique sound consisting of a natural blend of acoustic and electric instruments including violin. The authentic nuance brought in by guitarist Devon De Swardt and SAMA award winning violinist, Tricia Brink-Jones, combines with Frances' vocals to create a unique sound.
