On this week’s episode of Pet Dish TV, we look at the importance of preventative pet health care and how AHS is making it more accessible. Just like people, pets can benefit from a regular check-up. And just like human healthcare, pet healthcare can be quite expensive at times, and that can be a barrier for some people. That’s why Animal Humane Society has worked to establish AHS Veterinary Centers, offering high-quality, low-cost services for pets of qualifying families (which includes veterans and military personnel, those on government assistance, and income-based qualifications). ---------------------------------------------- LEARN MORE ABOUT AHS VET CENTERS: https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/vetcenters ---------------------------------------------- Pet Dish TV takes you behind the scenes to share some of the latest and greatest stories at Animal Humane Society. Every year Animal Humane Society cares for more than 23,000 animals in need and helps thousands more through programs for people and pets. As one of the nation's leading animal welfare organizations, AHS is transforming the way shelters care for animals and engage their communities. From innovative medical and behavior programs to investments in outreach and advocacy, we’re advancing animal welfare and creating a more humane world for animals everywhere. ---------------------------------------------- YOU CAN HELP ANIMALS IN NEED: https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/donate ---------------------------------------------- WATCH MORE PET DISH TV: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZasiXKC3qV7CLorSD6FUl4Iz88-OPV4P ---------------------------------------------- To learn more about AHS visit: https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/ ---------------------------------------------- Music courtesy: bensound.com ----------------------------------------------
