Who is Ryan Day? Ohio State Football's New Head Coach was named today after Urban Meyer's announced retirement. Ryan Day served as the Buckeyes' acting head coach during Meyer's 3-game suspension at the beginning of the 2018 season, going 3-0 with wins over Oregon State, Rutgers, and TCU.

Day will take over as the head coach in Columbus effective January 2, after Ohio State takes on Washington in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State is a 5.5-point favorite in that game.
