What is project panning and why do I do it?
Project panning is a term used when someone attempts to hit pan on or use up certain products in their collection, often by a certain deadline. This way of using makeup promotes anti-consumerism and using what you already have instead of always buying the newest thing. Makeup goes bad over time and using up products can take way longer than expected, which shows you to be mindful of the products you bring into your collection. I project pan because I want to live a simpler life of appreciating my things and getting my money’s worth instead of constantly lusting after new items.
