Claude Debussy - Bruyères

This is a video from my second solo piano recital, performed on July 14, 2013. This recital was a performance of preludes by Claude Debussy, and this piece is Bruyères (Heathers), from Preludes, Book II. Apologies for the awkward camera angle - our piano is in the corner of the living room, so it's a bit difficult to film on a Flip camera in a way that can show the performer's hands and profile without the side wall getting in the way. This was the seventh piece I performed. This piece took me a while for me to find a good interpretation since it does not seem to have much structure to it. It is a sketch of childhood innocence, and the middle section is supposed to be a bit livelier - I hope I was able to find the right tempo. I do think the pedal was a bit muddy in retrospect, but I hope you enjoy.
