Here we are on top of the famous Half Dome summit in the amazing Yosemite Valley. We backpacked for 5 days and 5 nights and had an amazing time. I was lucky enough to try out this awesome mid-layer from Salomon.
It was extremely comfortable and warm but breathed very well with its mesh pits and great use of fabrics.
All of the logos on the top are reflective so if your walking at night or running you can be seen. The thumb holes too are a very nice touch because when you put on tops like these the sleeves have a tendency to ride up your arms. Not the Solomon. It out performed any other mid-layer I have tried out so far.
I used this mid-layer under my softshell North Face jacket in 32 degrees and was totally warm.
I would highly recommend the Solomon 3/4 zip mid-layer for anyone looking for a great top that made extremely well and will keep you warm.
