A bubbling port city till fateful night of 22nd December 1964, Dhanushkodi is a ghost town now. No roads to go. Dhanushkodi is 21 kilometers from Rameshwaram and just after seven kilometers, you are in front of sea. Next 12-13 kilometers are to be traveled on a sand-bed taking you to sea through sea. See the video of the route and also notice that driver needs no control on the steering of the vehicle. Vehicle finds its own way on the sandy path. Driver is relaxing, talking on his mobile and is also narrating us the story of the haunted city.
