 PRESIDENT EISENHOWER COMMENTS ON SUMMIT MEETING
 At his Press Conference, the President reasserted his longstanding insistence on advance progress as a pre-condition to a Summit meeting. He said that Nikita S. Khrushchev could not force him by "bluff" or "blackmail" to attend unless there were grounds for believing that "real measures can be discussed profitably by all of us".

 EISENHOWER GREETS KING OF JORDAN: King Hussein is greeted by the President at the White House where the youthful monarch, wearing the uniform of field marshal, was guest of honor at a luncheon.

 LANA TURNER releases a barrage of balloons on the Great White Way in New York. The lucky catchers found the balloons contained guest tickets to Universal-International's new hit film "IMITATION OF LIFE". The stunt was also a salute to the 32nd Anniversary of the world famous Roxy Theatre.

 TIGHT ROPE WEDDING: The love bug - especially busy in Spring time - nips two young troupers with a touring Circus in France. The romance culminates in a wedding. Performed by the Mayor of the town where the Circus was appearing. The ceremony - unique and lofty affair - with bride and groom perched on the ropes. The Mayor no doubt had some shaky moments even though on terra firma.

 T.N.T. It's the Tiny Torpedoes vs. Tots: At the pee-wee boxing bouts at Annapolis, Maryland. The off-spring of Navy families enter the squared circle swinging. They take swipes with gusto and oversized gloves.... something to see, these twinkling starlets-bursting with sporting blood and enthusiasm....A performance of real promise.
