For the last 2 years I have been making a film, a promise I made to myself as a young boy. It has taken me until I'm 40 years old to gather the experience (and money!) to produce such a thing. Here are some behind the scenes pictures as well as actor headshots and at the end some live action video from the various sets we filmed in. It was filmed totally independently of any studio or external funding (save some top up development cash from our executive producer) and the story is based on a dream I had in 2007 - I have very weird dreams and have been writing them down for many years. Writing, pre-production and casting took about 8 months. Shooting was 10 days with some pick ups here and there Then 10 or so months post production, including composing the score, sound effects and the 370 FX shots in the film, many of which I hope you won't notice as they were mostly patches for the lift set which was a nightmare to design and build with so little money! You can see the video here: www.vimeo.com/4107937 So tell your friends and let me know what you think! The Premiere screening video (which was on the 8th April 2009) will follow later.
