At last I think I have a circuit that will allow the supercapacitors and DC to DC converter to work with the solar panel I have for the Kindle.

Variable bench power supply
Brymen 251 digital multimeter
Brymen 867 digital multimeter
Supercapacitors
NDL1205SC DC to DC converter
FRS1-S 12 Volt relay
