I have purchased several inexpensive car covers over the years that have claimed to be waterproof or at least very water resistant, but they have all leaked and been like wet towels on the car. I read the reviews on this Poly Pro 3 that said it was truly water resistant. And after a heavy 2-day rain it is indeed waterproof. The car was completely dry under the cover.
