This is the last UV segment before we get into texturing our character. We need to lay out our UV's into our top right square. There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. You can use Polygons - Layout and allow Maya to automatically arrange your shells with minimum UV waste. This is useful and efficient for Mudbox but many of your shells may be thrown into all sorts of different places which will be difficult to interpret in Photoshop. The other method is shown here where you manually arrange each shell. This is recommended if you're mainly texturing in Photoshop or some other painting application. Keep in mind that this method will be best for both applications anyway. Navigate the tutorial series in the playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB1B91427AAF8D622&feature=plcp
