(From Libby) Wow! Saw the breaking news update. I agree, let’s rejoice yet keep on praying Pastor Kent’s release all the way through. I can say, through some other conversations, that this is in alignment. Well God did exceedingly and abundantly beyond our expectations! Today was another incredible day with more devine appointments. The hottest mission fields in Yazoo City took place at the ACE Hardware Store, Gas station by Best Western, and the Wendy’s next store. Today, we first stopped to fuel up at the station next to the Best Western, it was packed! We had Pastor Hovind rack cards with key points along with DVD#5 for most all the people coming and going. One guy worked for the Sheriff in Jackson, MS but also knew the Sheriff in Yazoo City. He was very interested in the case and took the materials. Another lady, that worked for the city in Yazoo was all over it, she planned on watching the DVD with her church pastor and leaders. Everywhere we turned at that gas station we were constantly witnessing about Pastor Kent’s case…. So much so, one time I looked back at the truck and said to my sister, I forgot to pump the gas! I had it all set up and walked away with the nozzle in the tank just sitting there. She told me, I’ll get it… so the Holy Spirit was all over the place and blessed tremendously. The information was all very well received and all willing to help.

So we then went to a local church, I will not share which one at this point but it was TOTALLY awesome. There was only one way out and we waited until church let out. I would say we made contact with 15 cars, a church leader, and the church pastor. We held up the outflow of the church parking lot a little, but one lady said, it was okay, I work here, they can wait a little while. The ones we got to speak to were in agreement that they needed to show Pastor Kent support locally and were all willing to do just that. I talked to the church leader that was surprised by our presence and I apologized for setting up in their parking lot but I had a desperate situation and I needed their help. I shared I didn’t have time to ask for permission and once I got the story out he said well here is the pastor’s name… and I said isn’t it Pastor Jim? He said no. I said well doesn’t Chaplain Barlow go to church here? He said no. I said really? I looked this church up on the internet and when I looked under the missions tab it had Mr. Barlow’s name. I said is there more than one church with this same name. He said, yes, in Jackson (which is 35 miles away) – NOTE: Chaplain Barlow was the Lead Chaplain at Yazoo City BOP. Anyway, he told me their pastor’s name and I said, well please let him know we apologize for any inconvenience and please give him the “Let My Pastor Go” coffee mug, t-shirt, DVD, information cards and a copy of my children’s book, The Watermelon Story. He gave me the pastor’s contact number but I said, would it be possible to talk to him today? He said maybe…. Well everyone had left the parking lot except for the pastor’s car so I told my sister, let’s just go ahead and pack up and as we did, he drove up. He was so kind and he knew of Pastor Kent! He was very receptive and he gave me his business contact card. He said he would help anyway he could and I’m sure he will be a great help and advocate for Pastor Kent and his family and any supporters that find themselves in Yazoo City. So there is so much more to share but honestly, some things I would just like to share with y’all in person one day. Well, fixing to unload the truck. God Blessings to all and thank you God for watching over Pastor Kent and preparing the hearts of the Christians in Yazoo City to give him a very warm reception upon his release. I asked the pastor to please talk with the other pastor’s in town and shared the circumstances due to the case that caused a silent response for the most part in Pensacola. To His Glory – we are still in awe!
