Hi Everyone,
I am taking an online class called "K9 Conditioning" with Bobbie Lyons through Daisy Peel's website. http://www.daisypeel.com

I wanted to take the class because I think it is always a good idea to warm up, stretch and strengthen the dogs muscles. As you all may or may not know, I have a B.S. Degree in Kinesiology and figured that I needed to learn exercises to keep my dogs healthy and strong. Bandit was having shoulder issues and I really needed to learn how to help him. Then about a week ago, Bandit either sprained or fractured his outside toe on his left back paw. The vet said that she thought it was a sprain and the only way to find out if it is a fracture is to do X-Rays. She did not advise to do the X-Rays since they would not splint the toe if it was broken. She suggested minimal movement for a few weeks. Bandit is able to swim twice a week, so that helps keep him from going nuts. Because of Bandit's toe he is not able to continue in this class. Bobbie was nice enough to let me use Twix instead. I will be using Twix throughout the remainder of this class, so you will get to see his progress.

The exercises in this class will benefit all 3 of my dogs. :)

If you have not taken any online classes, you really should start. They are fun, you can practice in the comfort of your own home and you get valuable feedback and help from trainers that you would otherwise never be able to take a class with.

If you are interested in other online classes, I offer many online classes that can be found on my website. http://www.pamsdogtraining.com Maybe you do not have a positive trainer in your area or maybe you live too far to go to group classes and private lessons are just too expensive. Online classes are affordable and anyone can take them!

Have a great evening!
Pam, Isabelle, Bandit & Twix
