Spencer Trail starts at Lees Ferry on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, 15 miles downriver from Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam. Spencer Trail is a great hike to get your blood pumping and for spectacular views of Glen Canyon, Vermillion Cliffs and the Colorado River. The trail rises nearly 1,700 feet in just 2.2 miles - pretty much straight up the side of the Glen Canyon cliffs. A great hike! Finley Holiday Productions http://finleyholidayproductions.com
