I've been travelling a lot lately, and I've been fortunate to have the time to run while on the road. But mapping a new route to run can be tricky if you're not familiar with the area or don't have any local insights as to where to run. But here's how I approach it:
1. check the weather
2. avoid commuting to run
3. look for landmarks
4. look for blue or green on the map
5. use google maps walking directions and add points to create a route
6. use streetview to double check for safety

Today's charity runner of the day is Stuart Gray, who is raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support by running the 2019 Edinburgh Marathon.

I'm looking to donate $5 to a different charity runner every day. If you know someone who is running for charity, let me know in a comment; message me on IG, Twitter, or Facebook; or send me an email. I'd love to donate $5 to their cause and spotlight them on the channel.
