Companies in Point Lisas are now paying more for natural gas supplies but Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Franklin Khan says he has no information this will lead to job losses or shut down of companies in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. Minister Khan made the statement in response to a question in the Senate on Tuesday posed by Opposition Senator Wade Mark. Minister Khan said the National Gas Company has in fact negotiated several new contracts for the supply of gas.
