Two Burnaby RCMP officers came across a robbery in progress at 7-Eleven at Canada Way and Edmonds early Sunday morning.

Two men attempted to flee, ramming an RCMP cruiser with their vehicle.

Police responded by opening fire, hitting one of the men.
