Nov. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Tom Eagan, an analyst at Collins Stewart LLC, talks with Bloomberg's Carol Massar and Matt Miller about the possibility of a takeover of DirecTV Group Inc. by a phone company.
DirecTV Chairman John Malone wont rule out a takeover by AT&T Inc. or Verizon Communications Inc., saying they will likely have close ties to his company as they develop packages of phone and television service. Eagan also discusses new chief executive officer Michael White. (Source: Bloomberg)
