I had to get out alone today, but I had some obviously subconscious direction in mind when I left the house. It was about 12:15, I had no idea at the time where I was going, or what I was going to be doing. I just had to get out of the house, as my mind was trying to drive me insane with thoughts about various things concerning everything from money, where to work, moving out on my own, and ideas I've been holding in the back of my mind for about a month. My truck eventually led to the direction of the Glen Alps parking lot, which is at the start of the trail to flattop, and other trails and locations in the mountains. Got out of the truck and walked up to the overlook.. And there was nothing to see.. Mist everywhere, as far as you could see.... And that was maybe a quarter mile, at best. Went back to the truck, and thought.. Hmm, I want to go up the trail a bit.. So I got on my hiking gear, which I keep leaving in the truck so it was there.. I had no intentions what so EVER to go all the way to the top of flattop, none. That literally just happened. I did not stop. I couldn't. Something else was taking me there. I had the thought in my mind, I must have been insane to think that I would go all the way but I damn well did! And it was great... Then, from the top back to the parking lot only took 45 minutes.. How could I know that, even having not looked at the time from the time I mention it at the end of this video to the time I got home?............ I took a tape recorder with me, and just, my mind exploded everything I was thinking onto it. 45 minutes, one side of the tape, gone. And funny thing is, I don't even know what I'm going to do with said tape. I started it and never turned it off, until about 5 minutes after I got to the truck. I feel so very light now.. Like I've lifted off this huge weight from my mind.
