Working with the Linnie who has lost some of her finger training.. Scoop or cup into your hands.. never, ever squeeze or force the bird. Allow the bird to hop into your hand, and then cup your hands gently around the bird. My birds learn to jump into my hands, they actually enjoy it! This is also good for cage aggressive birds.. come from the back side and then the front side, then cup.. gently!!
