The Minister of Finance has in accordance with Section 39 (1) of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Act, renewed the employment contract of Richard Byarugaba, the current Managing Director of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), re-appointing him for a five-year contract effective 1st December 2017. The Minister also re-appointed Richard Wejuli Wabwire as the Fund’s Corporation Secretary, for a five-year contract effective 30th October, 2017. The Minister however declined to renew the contract of Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa, the Fund’s Deputy Managing Director, as per Section 40 of the NSSF Act.
