Despite her grief after losing her best friend and husband, Jacqueline Gathers got her Pillar To Post franchise up and running.

"I spent two weeks training at corporate headquarters and I took a home inspection course at Baruch College in order to qualify for state licensing in New York," Gathers said. "Pillar To Post is very family-oriented. Although my husband is no longer with us, I am excited about the prospect of my son [Timothy, 17] eventually joining me in business."
