We celebrate Freedom Day on Afternoon Express. On this special Freedom Day edition, we’re joined by Fanie du Toit, who’s the executive director of the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation. The day also commemorates the first free and fair elections in 1994 and we're chatting to Nelisa Ngqulana, Communications Manager for ACTIVATE! about what they do to encourage more of SA's youth to vote. Sandy Bota talks about the #White=Black campaign and performs as well, and in the kitchen we're preparing a SA-inspired crushed samp salad.
