What's at stake when a government condones torture?

The ACLU and PEN American Center present a one-of-a-kind performance/installation event from the frontlines of the war on terror. Directed for the stage and a future documentary by Doug Liman, with original artwork by Jenny Holzer.

At the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, actors, writers, former CIA and former military interrogators read from declassified government documents that expose the scope and human cost of the post-9/11 U.S. torture program.
