PUMP NOW FOR SALE: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=250591656720&Category=58177&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2 Here is a first test run of my Beresford centrefugal pump. It leaks like a sieve at the moment but that will be sorted soon! I The pump is thought to be from as early as 1935 to around 1960's but if anyone knows otherwise please say so. If it helps, Beresfrod pumps were used in fire fighting trailer units used during the second world war. The engine is a reverse rotation Wolseley WD 8 from 1950. It put out 1.5HP at 700RPM. It's nice to see it under load as this is the first peice of engine driven machinery I have bought! It's hopefully going to get to a few shows this year so look out for me!
