Cows are back inside the sheds after only 20 days out at grass .Record breaking rainfall has made grazing impossible. Also very cold ..Grass has stopped growing . Should have been cutting silage this week - No hope of getting it cut any time soon.- Silage Quality is dropping every day. Hope it will stop raining next month - If it does not the situation will become very serious.. I detest rain- it causes me more stress, headaches and money than everything else combined. Farmers in the south east of England are are getting much better weather.
