In October of 2018, the Operation Jairo crew saved two sea turtle nests while patrolling on the remote beaches of Padre Ramos. Each night, our brave crew of volunteers patrol the beach looking for nesting Olive Ridley mothers. As they lay their eggs, we carefully relocate their eggs to a hatchery, where they can safely incubate. Once the babies hatch, our volunteers release them onto the sand where they can imprint and make their way back to the ocean. As a non profit foundation, we cannot save our oceans without your help.
