Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco last Summer. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred supercars and hypercars in a single day without losing the opportuniy to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.

One of the most exclusive place of the city is for sure the MONTE CARLO BEACH HOTEL, a wonderful place at the end of Monaco at the border with Roquebrune Cap-Martin which offers umbrellas and sunbeds at the seaside. A night in this luxury Hotel costs 500-2.000 €, so only rich people attends it and used to park his amazing supercars in front of Hotel entrace.

In this video a stunning black and blue Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (the #126/300) with swiss driving licence plate parked outside the Hotel giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (aka Veyron EB 16.4) is a french hypercar produced in Molsheim since 2005 to be the fastest supercar of the history. The car takes its name in honour of Pierre Veyron, historical Bugatti engineer and test driver, who won the 1939 24h LeMans with a Bugatti.

The design is by Jozef Kaban, already father of a lot of Volkswagen and Audi, is made to decrease as possible the aerodynamic resistance of the wind, becoming the best car ever in this sector.

But the pride of the Veyron is for sure its powerful 8.0 litre W16 quad-turbocharged engine, union of two V8 engine bolted together, with 64 valves in total. This monster can develop the amazing power of 1001 hp and 1250 Nm of max torque, enough for incredible performance: only 2.5 second from 0-100 Km/h (only 16.7 seconds from 0-300) and a top speed of over 407 Km/h.

The trasmission is a dual-clutch 7-speed DSG sequential shift which costs 100.000 €. It also has a permanent all-wheel drive system and special PAX run-flat 20'' tyres by Michelin, 10 different radiators, radially vented carbon fibre reinforced silicon carbide composide discs and a mobile rear wing with which the Veyron brakes from 400 Km/h to a standstill in less than 10 seconds and in half a Km. With all this specs, the car weights 1888 Kg with a power-to-weight ration of 530 hp per ton.

At the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance was unveiled cabriolet version of the Veyron, the Grand Sport, produced in only 150 units. This car costs 1,4 million dollars and can reach a top speed of 369 Km/h with the roof down.

In the 2010 was launched a most powerful version, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, with 1200 hp and 1500 Nm of torque. Produced in only 20 units with a price of 2.5 M euros, is the fastest car ever with its 431 Km/h. Two years later Bugatti starts to produce a targa version of the SS, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, sharing the same engine and performance, receiving the Guinness World Record for the fastest no-roof car of the world.

Through the years many special editions have been presented:

- The Sang Bleu in carbon blue and chrome silver
- The Sang Noir, (15 made) full black
- The Centenaire, 4 units in chrome and blue, green, red or white
- The Pur Sang, (5 units) chrome + carbon black
- The Soleil de nuit (1 of 1) in aluminium + blue
- The Pegaso, in red + white
- The LeMans, cream and red
- The Grey Carbon in carbon grey
- The Sang Blanc in matte white
- The L'Or Blanc, blue with white porcelain patter
- The Wei Long, pearl white + red
- The SS WRE, in carbon and orange
- The GS WRC, in carbon and red

The production of the Veyron will end when the 450 example will be sold, to make room to the new 2015 Bugatti Chiron.
