Kasich on 2020: 'all options on the table'

(13 Dec 2018) Outgoing Republican Gov. John Kasich says he's continuing a serious look at a third presidential run while acknowledging he probably couldn't win GOP primaries held today. "If you're going to run as a Republican you have to have a sense that if you get into primaries you can win. Right now, probably couldn't win," Kasich says. "But that's today. It's ever-changing." Kasich says if he pursued a third presidential run, he'd do so as somebody trying to bring the country together. "The reason why I've been critical of this president is because I don't think he's done many things that bring about unity inside the country," he says. Trump said in a TV interview Thursday he hopes Kasich or retiring Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake mounts a primary challenge.
