Egypt crisis: a 'million men victory feast protest' to be organised On Thursday begins the Eid al-Fitr, the feast breaking the Fast. In Egypt, this could mean the end of the stalemate between the interim government and the pro-Morsi supporters who set up the sit-ins in Al Nahda and Rabaa, next to Cairo. The interim government seems indeed to have lost patience concerning those protests and is to crack them down, by force if necessary. On the other hand, the protesters tend to consider the sit-ins as their very last chance to impose themselves on the political debate, and fear for people to flee the encampments, as they return to their families for the holiday. Thus, the Muslim Brotherhood called for a huge rally throughout the country. Duplex with Kathryn Stapley, our correspondant in Cairo, Egypt.
