Victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo must benefit from their right to remedy and reparations, a United Nations panel of experts has recommended.

A three member UN panel of experts spent two weeks in the DRC, in October 2010, listening to victims of sexual violence recount their difficulties in obtaining justice.
