Willow Street Pike Working Vehicle Fire - Engine 502 *Ride Along*

Engine 502 responding to a working vehicle fire at the Willow Street Liberty gas station. Crews from 50 and 54 worked for over an hour to extinguish the fire, and clean the scene up. With the magnesium in the truck, and the oil spilling out onto the ground, this was a pretty tough fire to fight. There were also tanks on the back of the truck with dangerous gasses and chemicals inside of them that we needed to keep cool so they didn't explode. After Extinguishing most of the flames, the crew put the Pro-Pack into service to apply foam to the truck and the ground around it. The Lancaster County Hazmat chief was also called to the scene to look at the spillage. Willow Street Fire Company.
